Terms & Conditions

Last updated: October 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern the purchase and use of PassSafer licenses offered by Zynio Tech (the "Provider") via passsafer.com.

1. Scope

PassSafer is an offline password manager for desktop systems. The software is used under the License Agreement. By ordering a license or starting a free trial you accept these terms.

2. Offers and Prices

We offer a free 7-day trial and a lifetime license. All prices are stated in US dollars (USD) and are final prices. The Provider may change prices at any time; the price shown at the time of the order applies.

3. Conclusion of Contract and Payment

The contract is concluded when the order is confirmed and the payment has been completed. Payment is processed by PayPal. We do not store your payment data.

4. Delivery

The license key is delivered digitally to the email address you provided, immediately after successful payment. Please make sure the address is correct and check your spam folder.

5. Right of Withdrawal and Refunds

Swiss law does not provide a statutory right of withdrawal for online purchases. License keys are digital goods that are delivered immediately. If you have a problem with your license, please contact us at zyniotech@gmail.com. We review every request individually.

6. Warranty Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability & Use at Your Own Risk

PassSafer and all related services are provided strictly "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. The provider does not guarantee that the software will meet your specific requirements, run error-free, uninterrupted, or operate exactly as planned.

Use at your own risk: The user assumes all legal and practical risks associated with using the software. To the maximum extent permitted under applicable Swiss law (in particular Art. 100 of the Swiss Code of Obligations), any and all liability of the provider is expressly excluded. The provider shall not be held liable for:
• any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages,
• data loss, corrupted files, security compromises, or lost profits,
• forgotten or lost master passwords, inability to decrypt vaults, or lost backup files,
• software bugs, update issues, hardware incompatibilities, or system interruptions.

Because PassSafer is a 100% offline-first application with zero cloud access, the user has exclusive control over and sole responsibility for safeguarding their master password and creating regular, independent backups. Cryptographically, lost master passwords or backups cannot be recovered by the provider under any circumstances.

7. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and any disputes arising from the use of PassSafer or passsafer.com are governed exclusively by Swiss substantive law, excluding conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The exclusive place of jurisdiction is the registered seat or domicile of the provider in Switzerland, unless mandatory statutory consumer protection laws strictly provide otherwise.
